Myofascial massage for more ease in your body

Release tension. Create space. Come back to yourself.

Therapeutic myofascial release and deep tissue massage, combining skilled hands-on work with a somatic, body-aware approach.

Working with muscles, fascia, breath and movement, I use thoughtful pressure to help release patterns of tension and restriction – supporting greater freedom, mobility and ease.

Sometimes the body needs firm, focused touch. Sometimes it needs slowing down, listening and allowing. Your treatment is shaped around what your body needs on the day — using considered pressure, sustained touch and mindful attention rather than simply working harder or deeper.

What is fascia and why is it so important?

Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds and connects the muscles and other structures throughout your body. When we experience stress, repetitive movement, injury or prolonged tension, the body can develop patterns of holding that affect how we move and feel.

Myofascial release works more slowly and subtly with these areas of restriction, while deep tissue techniques can provide more targeted work into muscular tension.

Together, these approaches can help to:

  • release muscular and fascial tension
  • ease areas of stiffness and discomfort
  • improve freedom and range of movement
  • support more comfortable posture and movement
  • bring greater awareness to patterns of tension and holding
  • create a deeper sense of relaxation and physical ease

Two-hour treatment

What to expect

Whether you’re carrying physical tension from work, exercise or everyday life, feeling stiff and restricted, or simply want some time to slow down and inhabit your body, massage can offer a valuable pause.

Come as you are.

We’ll take the time to understand what your body is asking for, and create a treatment around you.

What to expect from my myofascial massage

  • A warm welcome — a calm, comfortable space to settle in.
  • Time to arrive — gentle, mindful touch to help settle your nervous system.
  • Targeted bodywork — working on specific areas of tension, restriction or discomfort.
  • Remedial techniques — tailored pressure and techniques to support release and mobility.
  • Your body, your choice — pressure, pace and approach are adapted to how you feel on the day.
  • Time to unwind — leaving you feeling more spacious, relaxed and connected.

I work with your body — paying attention to sensation, breath, movement and the quality of the tissues beneath my hands. Pressure can be firm when appropriate, but it is always responsive. The result is massage that is both therapeutic and deeply embodied.
